Arwin, Pls issue. kind regards, Ivo --- On ** *MORE SUPPORT FOR GRA: Time to act once again for Goa on 8th April 2011 – Time for Goa and time for Goans.* * * My Dear Goans, Further to the success that all concerned and true Goans tasted at the last GRA meeting on 15th March 2011, it is a big achievement in our history and we are proud of it. Surely it is going to be a chapter in this history of a most desired change. Our success does not stop here but it’s a lifelong journey which needs to be kept alive for the future Goans. Just like in cricket and football, where the battles don’t stop at the end of the world cups, the fight for supremacy and eradiation of social ills have to continue and culminate into much greater victories and glories to rein for our future Goan generations.. Therefore this is once again a sincere and humble Appeal to show our solidarity and moral support once again on 8th April 2011 with GRA and save Goa once and for all. As we are all aware Goa is being destroyed by the anti – Goans of various classes be it Delhi babus, migrants, MLAs, Panchayts, TPD, Government Depts and ignorant Goans. Migrants are allowed to vote and elect, migrants are allowed to do business – good or bad, crimes are increasing, many are getting away with crimes and murders, we are electing MLAs for term after term, corruption is killing us all, and now we Goans are in greatest danger of being outnumbered. The choices we have today before us are only two. Save ourselves and our Goans Identity or Destroy ourselves and live miserably for the rest of our lives. Its a choice that we make – for a new Hope and an better Alternative. This hope and alternative is truly Goan, it is *GRA* – Its Goencho Awaz, Its Goenkarancho Awaz, and it is Goencho Rakhondarancho Awaz. Are we going to forego this opportunity and repent for the rest of our lives? Wake up Goans. Let our Voices be echoed once again in Margao after the loud noise in Panjim. Let us succeed once again. This will definitely be a moral boost for other victories. Educated and ignorant Goans, make a wise choice. Those who have betrayed us earlier for a few bread crumbs and pieces of silver – Don’t be Judases by back stabbing ethnic Goans this time. Show your strength. Be counted and be heard. Don’t be slaves of political masters who have no integrity or moral values. Live with Dignity, Live with respect for the rest of your lives. Be outstanding as Goans. It is your voice, It is our voice, It is Goenkarancho Awaz. Be present and be there. Don’t believe in national parties or their ideologies. We have witnessed all the greatest scams and communal riots under them. Our hard earned money is looted through various scams and various fact finding committees/ commissions which produce no end result for the common man. We have seen them for the last 50 years. They don’t have anything to offer to Goans, not even special status and so we have lost all the good things that we enjoyed under the Portuguese. We are now also losing our Communade Land which were well preserved for Goans under the Portuguese and if this continues to happen Goans will be driven out even from their own houses by force by the migrant loving politicians. The fact still remains in history that this is Goa - an Indian Occupied Goa (IoG). So Join in for a revolution of change, a revolution of rejection, rejection of corruption, rejection of diseased minds, rejection of the corrupt. Be inspired, have faith, draw your inspiration from the world. Look at Egypt , look at Tunisia , see the change, feel the changes, experience the new life and hope. Watch forPeople's voices and People's power. GOENKARANCHO RAKHONDARRACHO AWAZ (GRA) is calling. Hear them on your rooftops, hear them in your villages, hear them in your hinterlands, hear them in your hearts. They are our hope. Confide in Hope but if hope is lost even the last will to survive is lost. We need to do a thorough introspection. We have to reason out. We have to decide what we want, what we need and how to get it, as Goans benefit forever. Ask ourselves, ask our conscience……. 1. Do we need the same old faces to loot us more? 2. Do we need to elect MLAs to inaugurate public toilets? 3. Should the taxes that we pay continue to be looted in various forms of scams of Telecom, water tanks, land grabs, mega housing projects, etc 4. Should we continue to be diseased in our minds and allow communal parties to flourish? 5. Should we continue to elect illiterates and criminals and allow replication of Godhra and death of missionaries from minority communities like Graham Staines and his two minor children in our beautiful Goa ? Are we going to witness alleged crimes and manslaughter charges? 6. Should we continue to shell our hard earned money in the form of bribes to get our legitimate works done? 7. Do we need to be intimidated over and over again by our politicians? 8. Are we going to let corruption flourish? 9. Are we ready to face police brutalities for the rest of our lives? 10. Are we going to destroy our natural resources and forests by overexploitation and illegal mining? 11. Are we willing to destroy our agricultural land and make ourselves artificially dependent on high cost and speculated sales of vegetables from other states? 12. Are we going to elect people who welcome migrants in high numbers and change the demography of our Konkani speaking and loving Goans? Looking further on our hope should we make one better choice for the rest of our lives? Are we going to have a better life? A better Goa for us Goans to live......A prosperous and rich culture? A fair and transparent administration? How much can we achieve by being constructive tools in this change? Are we going to be ‘*’A Voice’’* that will ensure ‘’*Justice*’’? ‘* ’Strength*’’ that will fight social evils and checkmate corruption? A ‘* ’Hope’’* that will preserve communal harmony and *Save Goa and Goan Identity?* Make your choice. Show your moral support and strength. Don’t let fate decide our future.
