Deepak D M Chandrashekhar (29) of Dabolim died in a self accident on Saturday night, after he fell off from his motorcycle while proceeding towards his residence. Vasco Police informed that the deceased was proceeding on his Enfield bullet motorcycle through an internal road of Assoi-Chicalim that hardly had any street light. Police said Deepak banged his head on the gutter concrete, after he fell off from the motorcycle and died instantly. In the second accident, an 18-year-old scooterist from Aravale- Cortalim died, after a speeding tanker knocked him down along the Cortalim-Lotoulim route near Kurpawado-Cortalim on Sunday at about 5 pm. According to Verna Police, Rolan Monteiro, who was proceeding on his Dio scooter (GA-06-C-6408), came under the front wheels of the tanker (MH-06-BG-8297). The deceased was proceeding towards his residence from Ponda. Verna Police said that the deceased died instantly after he came under the wheels of tanker. The driver tanker fled from the site.
