My answer: Yes Gabe, it's easy for an experience and knowledgeable person in technology to write technical books. Gabe, don't you agree with this? Secondly, technical writer, for that matter even non-technical writer need not know or even be conversant with parliamentary proceedings. One for the road, Gabe - which guideline(s) or norms prevailing in England or USA or anywhere in the world say that writer must be well conversant with parliamentary proceedings or else he/she can never be a writer? For that matter, are you familiar with ALL parliamentary proceedings? I think this is enough for the day. I will get back to you about 'barking dog' sometime later. Meanwhile, don't forget to correct and or teach speaker of Goa the correct pronunciation. Once he starts with correct pronunciation I won't mind using hearing aid to correctly listen to him. Gabe, do remember that Envy is a waste of time - looks like you have ample of time to waste! To put in Baltasar Gracian's language: 'envious die not once, but as oft as the envied win applause'.
