Guitar Guild Goa in association with Kala Academy Goa and the
Indo-German Educational and Cultural Society of Goa will be organizing
Specialized Instruction in the form of individual Classes for Brass
instrument players. (Trumpet, French Horn, Trombone and Tuba) on 9th
April, 2011 at Kala Academy goa from 2 pm to around 6 pm.
It will be conducted by Mr. Andrew Norman a conductor, performer and
brass instrument teacher from England. He is helping revive the Brass
tradition which we had in Goa. Mr. Norman has been gracious enough to
give his valuable expertise to us free of cost. Last year too he had
presented a workshop on brass instruments and talked about the history
and development of the same.
No fees will be charged to the participants who will each have about 30
minute personal instruction. At 5 pm there will be a short lecture by
Mr. Norman open to the public which will be followed by a performance by
the newly formed Garden Central Brass Quartet which he will comment upon
and instruct in public.
Registration for the free Brass Instructional Classes will be done on

near the Municipal garden Panjim.
