If you are suffering from amnesia this should jump-start your memory, was it not you who wrote: "There is nothing spectacular about students who have studied in regional languages who do well at the SSC examinations. Please factor in the fact that corrections done at the Goa Board are slanted towards being populist. The moderators of papers are hard wired to seeing that as many students as possible pass. There is a certain band of marks below passing marks of which papers the moderators are obliged to pass. Suppose this mark is x then all papers in the range passing mark minus x are rechecked and the papers are necessarily brought up' to pass marks." Now Tony, does it not imply that all the regional language students are not worth their salt or jackasses ? Would you say that this your above mentioned "phenomena" benefits only the regional language students and the English medium students do not benefit from this "phenomena" ? As far as I know there are no markings on the SSC or the HSSC papers to say that the students are from English medium, Konkanni medium or even Marathi medium primary schools. So how can you say that that only the regional language students benefit from this "phenomena" ? We surely did not have different boards for different MOI at SCC or HSSC. Do you seriously believe that all English medium students pass SSC and HSSC without the benefit of this "phenomena" and all regional language students do ? Aren't you being totally bias here or even racists to words the Konkanni medium students ? For your kind information, only the students that do not do well are helped by this you're so called "phenomena" irrelevant to the MOI, and all those that do well in either case are the ones that do not need this benefit. If you think only English medium students have been successful whereas Konkanni medium students have been failures, it the fallacy of your own cockeyed perception. I don't have to be an examiner, teacher or even a moderator because I know all students irrelevant of the MOI benefit from the grace marks and not just regional language medium students as you so daftly stated. I know it is not a mistake to spell "Konkanni" and for your kind information a spelling mistake does not make a person a jackass or else there would be a herd of jackasses on this very forum including yourself.
