Grand Procession of Saints
St. Francis Xavier, St. Roque, St. Filipe, St. Andrew, St. Minguel, St. Antonio, St. Bernado, St. Peter, St. John, St. Maria Magdalena, St. Inez, St. Clara, Bl. Jose Vaz etc etc will march through the streets of Goa-Velha today. Yes, today Monday 11/4/11 (and every year on 5th Monday of the Lent) life size Saints will go out in a 2 hour long procession in the Goa-Velha streets/lanes. Starting from around 5pm. It's has become a major tourist attraction too. It’s an unique procession as there is no such procession held anywhere in the world (except Rome).
