One decided to take pictures of the statues before the procession- when young, one remembers coming to Goa Velha was not pleasant. It was crowded, the saints looks scary and when going under the platform holding the saint, one often got entangled in someone's badly wrapped saree! To make matters worse, the saints looks are not welcoming and one avoided eye contact........
