Dear Marshall,

I haven't met Anna Hazare in person. But I have met Arvind Kerjiwal.
I admire this bloke and his stamina for things un-corrupt ( at least what he voices).

But I also believe that Tavleen Singh is right.
People who want to abolish corruption must get into the political mainstream either by volunteering to contest elections on a non-corrupt road map which is totally written down and published OR find such persons who will contest on this non-corrupt agenda and support/canvass for him/her, not one, but more the merrier.

I do think that Anna Hazare is just 'GAS' which will diffuse in thin air in no time.
Because, as Tavleen says, this GAS in based totally on UNDEMOCRATIC REALM.

I say: TO CHANGE THINGS, ONE MUST GET INTO THE DEMOCRATIC MODE. What Anna is doing is just the opposite.

I have done it with GOA SU-RAJ PARTY

BTW: if you feel that by my toting Anna Hazare's line will prop me up as a legislator, I doubt it very much. Anna Hazare might be very clean. But what he is doing is not sustainable. I can compete with Anna Hazare or a thousand Anna Hazares on a 'clean' competition and I am sure that I will WIN hands down.

Cheers

Floriano Lobo:
I had similar something to say at this meet just like Tavleen Singh has
said and more " THAT I DON'T LIKE TO BE SEEN WITH HYPOCRITES.

Response:
Floriano, I hate to say this. But if you are unable to distinguish the chaff from the wheat, you have an uphill task coming even close to the shadows of
the corridors of power.

Please read the write up on Anna Hazare in Wikipedia in the link below.

Also see the write up on Swami Agnivesh in Wikipedia in the link below:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swami_Agnivesh

You can get more info on them, their work and track record on google.

You can similarly google and find out the credentials of Kiran Bedi, Arvind Kejriwal and Prashant Bhushan. The movement against corruption is definitely
in good hands. If you are not with them, you are a big loser.

At the same time, I have reservations about the movement getting hijacked by political elements who see this movement as an opportunity to piggy back on
popular sentiment for their own selfish agendas.

To refer to persons like Anna Hazare and Swami Agnivesh as Hypocrites is an
oxymoron.

Regards,

Marshall
