It is very interesting to see Politicians now taking a keen interest to clean up Colva Beach, I do hope that this is not just a quick fix in view of the coming elections up but efforts are also made to address the various specific commercial establishments, that are polluting the beach in the first place. Needless to say, the Politicians now suddenly interested in cleaning up the beach were also responsible in giving licences to the polluting establishments, in the first place. Colva has been ravaged by selfish politicians who have directly or indirectly being controlling the once beautiful village. However the blame clearly lies on the shoulders of the people of Colva, who have allowed the Anti-Goans the destructive run in the village. Will the people of Colva wake up now and see the false faces of the Anti-Goans or allow their village to be completely destroyed? The bottom line is that whatever happens to Colva or its people, the residents today will be finally responsible for the same!!
