There is a good deal of journalistic and media space spent opining on what Hazare did, should have done, could have done, would have done, etc. What were they doing sitting at their keyboards all these years? Now they worry for Indian democracy!! This is really rich."

Response:
Too premature to celebrate Anna Hazare. A long long way to go and many hills to cross. It will not be as easy as getting incorporated on the committee. But the means used to achieve the end are equally important. The game actually starts now. Hope the Jan Lok Pal Bill of Anna Hazare and gang does not become as menacing as POTA. Meanwhile, let us not be carried away by media proaganda in thinking that others were not doing anything towards tackling corruption. Many have been contributing their mite, some like Satyendra Dubey and others got killed, others maimed and some other survived. All this often away from the media glare. To throw caution to the wind by embracing the monster to fight corruption could in fact be rich thinking. -Soter
