During the heat and peak of the Konkani agitation in Goa, there was some graffiti painted in large letters in black paint on the balcony of a house which fronted the Panjim-Agacaim highway at Zuari, just after the Siridao bridge. It was there for many years till it got painted over.
It read: Konkani ulloi, Konkani boroi Ani Marathi bhaxen Chont alloi To Prof (Retd) Borges, I would say the same, only substituting "Devnagri lipin" for "Marathi bhaxen" Somzoloi re? -- Tony de Sa. tonydesa at gmail dot com ^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v
