Are people in Goa so gullible that they can believe everything the Goan freedom fighters say that they fought the Portuguese and brought freedom to Goa.
If the people do not believe them. Then why do they get preferential treatment i.e. they get huge pensions and benefits from the Goan tax payer. As the whole world knows that it was the vastly superior and well equipped Indian military might who invaded Goa and sent the Portuguese packing back to Portugal. Why does the Goa Government not make a case study and out each individual freedom fighters exploit in hastening the Portuguese departure. Ignatius Fernandes.
