Folks, Let me assure everyone here that the above is just a typo. In Canada, the person who gets the highest number of votes wins and not vice-versa. What IS different about Canadian politics is that fully one third of those in Parliament have been born outside Canada. This number is close to the number of Canadian citizens who have been born outside Canada. The 100 or so foreign born MP's hail from 66 different countries. Lastly, voters here are not interested in where a candidate came from. What is really of importance is the candidates vision for the future. Mervyn1650Lobo
