The DGP is making his case for the need of more men in the police force. This shows that Goa has slipped from a law abiding State to a lawless State. More the police means more is the irresponsibility of civil society. And while the Desh Premis may try to divert the attention to extinguish the Portuguese inlfuence, they will not be able to erase the memories of the law and order prior to liberation of Goa. Every Indian setting their foot into Goa ove rthe last 50 years has brought with them only chaos and tonnes of filth to make himself comfortable. Worse still, this is a reflection on the Goan who seems to be a part of this mess. Instead of entertaining ourselves with the Hazares and Hegdes, it is time to clean up our own shit accumulated in the backyard.
