A number of cancers ARE curable, carry a favourable prognosis if detected early and have been cured. 4: For many cancers, the cure has been elusive. That is why the research is on-going. 5: The challenge with any disease is to find a treatment with the least amount of side-effects. 6: There surely must be a permanent cure for quackery. jc
