<<<I feel it is futile, this discussion on cure for cancer.
In the very first place when in layman’s terms cancer means malignant tumours
in medical terms, there definitely is no record of any malignant tumour being
cured. All the expensive chemotherapy and radiotherapy and surgery has done is
only to prolong or rather stretch you suffering for a couple of more years.
Which also include the suffering of the family, the near and dear ones. Medical
doctors who profess cure for cancer are never straight forward in telling the
patient that the treatment is not literally treatment, but just disaster
prolongation.
I am not aware if cancer is curable in experimental rats and birds, as I am not
into that field. I deal with living humans and explain always the pros and cons
of a cancer prognosis so that further decision can be taken by the family…
So my advice is to always take second opinion or may be even third and
understand the issue thoroughly before one ventures into the treatment of
cancer, it is your Right to ask ask for opinion. Take advise from Physicians
and also from Surgeons rather than Paediatricians, Ophthalmologists or Research
scientists.
**I do agree with you that malignant tumours cannot be cured. Spontaneous
regression or remission of some kinds of cancer can be there. A cure will be a
sign of God’s intervention. Remission is not a cure. In this line of thought, I
stated that "cancer is not curable” (there are always ‘ifs’ and ‘buts’). This
is not a question of English comprehension, because I was strongly reacting to
the blunt, erroneous statement that "cancer is curable (clinically, of course)
even in the last stages”. This is a scientific lie. No physician will accept
this.
