The Goa Police did some social service on Tuesday after a 26-year-old was killed by a speeding mining company truck. The SP South Tony Fernandes and his Deputy Rohidas Patre, rushed to the house of the victim at Sulcorna, ready with a cheque of Rs 5 lakh issued in record time by the mining company, which had engaged the driver of the truck, which killed the victim.
