The ancient Chandreshwar Temple or Chandranath Temple located at Paroda Parvat (mountain/ Hill) the road / gate to the temple seen on the way to Quepem etc It is said Shri Chandreshwar Temple atop the Chandranath Hill dates from the pre-Christian era, when this region formed part of the Boja capital of Chandrapur (today's Chandor). It’s about 15 kms from Margao There are about 450 steps with railings.
