MET, Goa Monsoon, Rain clouds etc Looks like monsoon started early this year. MET’s forecast was by 10th June and what we got on 2nd June was termed as ‘pre-monsoon showers’ But the so called pre-monsoon showers started at 5pm on 2nd and and continued till early morning 4/6/11. Saw people with umbrellas on the 3rd June. We too carried ours. Whole day 3rd June was cloudy and dark rain clouds seen through out (see a video captured around 6pm).
When we left 5pm, we did not take our umbrellas this time as we were going for a movie at Inox. While entering at Old GMC there was no water (logged) but two hours later (after the show) the area was like a pond and as such we had to walk through the water (during monsoon water logging here at the entrance every year) and it was raining through out the night intermittently.
