Goa Sudharop, an organization working for the betterment of Goa and Goans, invites applications for full scholarships from financial needy Goan students residing in Goa who wish to pursue their studies in the M.B.B.S, B.Tech or B.Engg courses in Goa or other Indian states, but are facing difficulties due to financial constraints.
Goa Sudharop is working jointly with the Foundation for Excellence (FFE), USA in order to help Goan students obtain FFE scholarships. FFE's mission is to help economically underprivileged and academically bright students in India to complete their higher education. In the past, several such scholarship students have gone on to very successful careers, and these students in turn give back in whatever way they can to FFE, thus enabling other needy students to pursue their dreams of a higher education. Last year Goa Sudharop assisted two students with full scholarships (one each in M.B.B.S. and B.Engg courses) and this year plans to assist another 15 needy students. Economically underprivileged Goan students who secure admission to either M.B.B.S, B.Tech or B.Engg courses and are in need of financial assistance are eligible to apply for these scholarships.
