According to JoeGoaUK , the dates the feast of St Anthony was celebrated last year, this year and the one in the next year are 13th June, 19th June and 17th June respectively. Very interesting indeed, since all these digits are prime numbers i.e. not divisible by any other numbers.
St. Anthony was born to a Portuguese nobleman in Lisbon in 1195 and was baptised as Fernando de Bulhoes. However, his ministry was mainly in an Italian town called Padua west of the city of Venice. Hence he is known as St. Anthony of Padua although during my school days in colonial Goa we were told politely to refer to him as St. Anthony of Lisbon. I believe there is a grand church in Padua called Basilica de Santo Antonio. He died on the 13th of June,1231 but his funeral was deferred until Tuesday the 17th of June. In Goa , St. Anthony's feast is celebrated at Siolim (Bardez), Goa Velha (Tiswadi) and in Deussua, Chinchinim ( Salcete).and is undoubtedly the most popular saint for Catholics in Goa.
