<<There are nearly 200 dialects of the English language around the world. There
are at least 35 dialects of English in the United Kingdom alone. Oxford English
has many words borrowed or derived from several foreign languages in it,
including Hindi, Marathi, Urdu, Tamil, Bengali, and of course, Sanskrit.
**There are dialects in all languages due to local differences of spoken
language. But there is also literary, standard language which is being used in
writing. For example, in Germany there are more than 48 dialects, but for the
public writing and liturgy standard German (Hochdeutsch) is used. Likewise,
there are dialects of Konkani, but writers should come into consensus for a
"promann, ekrupi Konknni". This will be a reality...
