Another possibility: Anil Desai used his funds to Bus-in "all the "indegenous" members and supporters of Indian National congress party" to a contrived function. re 3: My "legal mind" encourages me to ask the following preliminary (discovery) questions: a: What is the Mother tongue of most Goans? b: Is it Marathi or Is it Konkani? c: If it is NOT Marathi, WHY are Marathi schools being supported with grants? IF it is Marathi, why are 'Konkani' schools being supported. I truly hope that the majority of Goan mothers speak in forked tongues i.e. Marathi and 'Konkani'. d: Is it possible that the parents who support English as their MOI - do NOT consider either Marathi or this contrived (but NOT Bused-in) 'Konkani' as their mother tongue? e: If a good percentage of Goan families (who are Tax-Payers) wish to have their children learn in the same language as the Parrikars and Kakodkars ...... Why are these same folks "shutting down" Goa to prevent others from getting their wish fulfilled? f: If the 'electoral box' is the decider, why are these politicians and their hacks (who may or may not have a vested interest in preventing other English Medium schools from coming on stream) trying to short circuit the Parliamentary process? g: I noted Shashikala's "warning" that 'Goans will subject the Congress Party to unprecedented humiliation in the ensuing Assembly Elections'.
