I see it as a cultural  supplement that would be of some benefit.  It would 
not 
supplant the doctrines of the parochial institutions that are in the business 
of 
education.  'Christian' America denies all financial support to similar school 
systems in defence of secular State regulations. We are indeed fortunate.
  It would help to avoid knee-jerk reactions that smell of paranoia when 
responding to the the urges of a majority group.  History is not on our side, 
and I hear a clock ticking.  One can rabblerouse away to a backbench seat in a 
legislature, but a fat lot of good is delivered to the interests of a powerless 
smaller group.   eric.

Who has said there is something wrong with the Bhagvad Gita is wrong? Will the 
Bible and Koran also also be introduced to impart moral values in Karnataka?
We all had a choice between religion and moral science classes in schools but 
nothing got imposed on anyone.
