Wilson, you r right. Neutralized citizens of Indian origin can apply for OCI that is the permenant lifelong visa for India. When one's foreign passpert is renewed, one has to contact Indian Consulate, who will transfer the OCI stamp to the new passpert. This avoids the trouble of applying for visit visa for India and one can travel to India any time. I have it and it is very helpful. MD.
