Kalmadi claiming Dementia Suresh Kalmadi the so called architect of CWG appears to be faking illness to beat the long arms of law.His incarceration in Tihar Jail must have provoked this disease, he could better sue the prison authorities for contracting the disease It is not known whether it is amnesia or dementia specific only to the CWG scam or has wider cognitions. When did this debilating illness occur and which has doctor has certified it so? All his close associates have confirmed that during his hectic reigning schedule CWG, no such streak of illness was ever noticed. In fact he conducted the CWG games affairs with all his mental and intellectual faculties fully intact The fact of dementia must be examined by a pannel of doctors to be assured of the leniency or even escape from the gallows. It is surprising that even under these conditions, he is seeking permission to attend the Parliament One wonders why, whether it is a temporary relief from confinement and denial of royal pleasures of life he is accustomed to.? Nobody denies his privilege to requests, as serious criminals in the past have allowed to attend the Parliament as M.P.`s Politicians will always try to bend the laws through dubious means and this must be another shrewd legal tactic to test the waters It must be remembered that his imprisoning was reluctantly delayed until it became unavoidable due to the mounting crusade of BJP by holding the functioning of the Parliament to ransom , unparalleled in the history of Democratic India Years ago Babu Jagjivan Ram claimed amnesia and forgetfulness in filing Income Tax returns ,because of his preoccupation of his Ministerial duties.
