The President of the Goan Association thanked the founder Members...I can
only think of Tony D'Costa and myself who are still around - I do believe
the late Camilo D'souza's (ex Saligao and Ugdanda) son was also present,
Don't know where he is at present.

25 July. The Farewell Dinner, hosted by Flavio Gracias, the President of the
Goan Association (UK), was held at the Bombay Brasserie, Kensington, London
for the dignitaries from Goa. This was the culmination of a very successful
Global Goans Convention & Festival. Unfortunately, Lorna and Tony Luis were
among those unable to be present. Mr John Major, ex British Prime Minister
was coincidentally dining in the restaurant and was introduced to Mr
Faleiro, the Commissioner for NRI Affairs (photo). It was sad to part
company with many of those we were closely associated with in recent days.

It breaks my heart that One who was fighting the cause and was an ardent
member of the Organising Team, was not missed - only Lorna and Tony Luis
were! Was she not invited? O.K. She had a plane to catch.
