Adeus, Amingo! Till today,I have not understood what exactly life means? but I can confidently say it is beautiful though it's a mixture of good,bad and ugly things.Life cannot be always smooth and a bed of roses and if it turn out to be same,life is meaningless.Sometimes life is very difficult but we have to take it as it comes and live it,if not for our own selves than at least for those who needs us badly.The great Mother Theresa lived her entire life for others. My friend, Xavier Fernandes was all in one.He was a singer,musician,actor and above all a sincere government employee.Music and acting was in his blood.Since school days he was a famous character related to cultural stage and he had performed a lead role in an one act play named Death-Certificate which had won highest number of first prizes in that particular year about 2 decades ago.He also remained to be a part a Church choir some years ago and was a very active band member of Dimensions. He was one among the few government employees who knew his job but I would say he took a different road which his colleagues and friends never wanted him to take.God had different plans for him but he opted for his own. It was shocking to hear the sad news at sea but it's a fact that he is gone,gone to perform in God's theatre.The Cuncolim municipal Council lost a sincere employee,the village Cuncolim lost her talented son and I lost a true friend.I m sure his performance in God's theatre will be super hit but it was a early call.
