Congress on the defensive The latest report of CAG on Sheila Dixit has been very damaging for the COngress health She has decided to brazen it out at all costs The image of the congress party has taken a beating on double standards The Congress spokespersons are bending over heels to state that it is different matter That the CAG is not final and it has to go the parliament and FIR can be filled later, before starting the process of investigations This is the due process of law to be followed and the C.M. of Delhi has no reason to step down The lokayukta of Karnataka has indicted Yedurappa and hence the Congress was baying for his blood The BJP obliged the congress to ward of the scathing attack by the UPA II to dampen their outbursts. We find that Raja , Kalmadi not only resigned but are in jail due to filing of FIR and starting of investigations Maran had to resign after the CBI found that there is sufficient evidence against him The people are asking why the investigation cannot be started against Sheila Dixitt after filing the FIR It appears the law is not equal when it comes to the Congress incumbents and there is a massive cover up and divergence of views expressed laboriously and evasively by congress functionaries Not only on moral grounds but massive evidence by the CAG must make Sheila Dixit put in the papers ,otherwise it will provide the fodder to the mill of BJP.WE have sen that the principal parties are bent on scoring brownie points by installing the functioning of the Parliament Day in and out Congress and BJP are bent on showmanship of each ones superiority The nation is watching in disgust the fights between the two to no end When the BJP is taking about the price rise and its effect on people or aam admi,, did they for a while think of the people they are representing ,when they accepted the Rs80,000 increase in their tax free emoluments ,besides other mind boggling perks and pensions ?Is such increase justified according to the standard of living of people they represent ?
