I was informed that the Church in Medieval times was not only a place of Worship but a place of gathering where matters were discussed and ideas exchanged. We are somewhat blessed in the U.K. that although we have falling numbers of Church goers, the Catholics seems to be holding up pretty well! In Goa it seems to me that people attend Church services and as soon as they come out they have no reservations about ethics or proper conduct - in fact on the way to Church they will drop their garbage in front of your house! -- DEV BOREM KORUM Gabe Menezes.
