COMMENT:

Dear Mr. Lopes,

It is my impression that (a) The Indian Parliament is supreme with the
proviso that the Judiciary interprets the law that Parliament makes.
(b) The only time the populace is in a position to 'dictate' to
Parliament, is at the time of elections.

Accordingly, there is NO wiggle room for the disruption of civil life
by way of disorder. Peaceful protest is one thing, Enforced bandhs and
other forms of disorder are NOT supported by the Indian Constitution.
If they are, do advise.
