Workshop on Light Effects
Tiatr is the most popular dramatic form of Goa. It has mass appeal because it deals directly with the issues prevailing in Goan society. Presentation of tiatr becomes more effective if proper light effects are provided to the different scenes of the tiatr. In fact scientific use of light effects is rarely seen on the tiatr stage. In order to equip the writers/directors of tiatrs to make use of light effects scientifically, a one day workshop on light effects is organized by Tiatr Academy of Goa (TAG) in collaboration with Ravindra Bhavan, Margao for the benefit of writers/producers and directors of tiatr.
The workshop on light effects will be held on 8th September 2011 from 10 am to 5 pm at the Joao Agostinho Fernandes Memorial auditorium at Ravindra Bhavan, Margao. Shri.Satish Gawas an expert on light effects will guide the participants. The last date to enroll for the workshop is 1st September 2011. Interested artistes are requested to confirm their participation to TAG through phone nos. 2230738 / 2230739. TAG requests the tiatr artistes to take the benefit of the workshop so that they can contribute to the technological development of the tiatr also.
