The Konkani Film Industry is finally coming of age. The latest international acceptance is Sharon’s Film TUM KITEM KORTOLO ASLO? being selected for yet another screening, this time, at the “Marbella International Film Festival -2011” in Spain during October 2011.Can you believe it ? A Konkani Film from Goa being screened at an International Film Festival in Europe ?Well , it’s time we Goans started believing in ourselves and our capabilities to come up to international standards. We at our Media Office have actually seen the Letter of Selection from the Festival Organizers and felt proud of Sharon Mazarello, our very own Goan Filmmaker. The Organizers have, in the same letter, invited Sharon and her Co-Producer Wilmix Mazarello to Spain to attend the Festival to be held from the 14th October to 16th October 2011.It’s a rare opportunity for Goans in and around Spain to actually see a Goan Konkani Film being screened among other international Films of the world.Just a few months back the same Konkani Film TUM KITEM KORTOLO ASLO ? was screened at the “Addis International Film Festival-2011” in Ethiopia and now this.We wish Sharon Mazarello ‘all the best best’ for her visit to Spain.Sharon , keep the “Goan Flag” flying.
