-- Samir Umarye *BICHOLIM:A 28 year old person from Maulinguem Bicholim was arrested by the Bicholim police on Tuesday in connection with poisoning his wife to death.
According to the available information one Ganganma C Naikar (26) was married to Chandrakant Naikar (28). On May 26, 2011 Ganganma who was pregnant was rushed to Bicholim PHC where she was declared dead. During autopsy poision was found in her blood and stomach. The Bicholim Deputy Collector, Narayan Gad who was investigating the case registered a case against her husband and the Bicholim police arrest the accused under section 302, 498 A of IPC. He was later remanded to six days police custody. *
