Folks, If there is one thing that is very clear to me, Goans take their patty matter seriously. Very seriously. I once had the courage, read enough spirits, to ask my pattieses supplier in Dar es Salaam what she put in her pattieses. Her answer was, "If I tell you, you will stop buying patties from me." And that too at a time, when I was not a good cook. Needless to say, after that reply, I had to keep real quiet as her patties had one exceptional quality. Every time you bit into one, it returned the favor. I still miss those hot Dar es Salaam patties!!!!
