Her name was Rosy Correia and she took up permanent residence within the market complex in the 70's. An amiable manic, she had walked away from a family estate and access to a fortune in London that now tops a hundred million pounds - no typo on the number. The genial wacko came loaded with much wit, and I miss the challenged repartees; she would make for a little chapter in Dominic's intended book. You can add Dom to the Nairobi account, Frederic, a few more too and, yes, the combined works of I. Nunes. eric.

[email protected] Dear all: Many of the old time Goanetters would surely know Domnic Fernandes of Anjuna, earlier in Saudi Arabia, and the author of the book *Domnic's Goa*. Incidentally, the idea for the book came after a series of articles he wrote on Goanet. Domnic has been back in Goa, in Anjuna, running a franchisee outlet and also doing what he does well -- writing. At the moment, he's working on a book on the Mapusa of old.
