Kindly publish the following matter in your esteemed paper Least Bothered Employees It is a matter of deep concern that the so called sincerity is missing in some of the Booth Level Officers(BLO's) appointed to update the respective Electoral rolls.It is really not a big job at all but some people appointed by the government showing least interest in the same. On the 4th of October at about 1500 Hrs,I visited my polling booth at the government school at Madicotto,Cuncolim to inquire about the transfer of my wife's name from the newly formed Nuvem constituency to Cuncolim constituency but found the polling booth closed. On the next day in the morning ,managed to find out through the two teachers teaching in the government school that they themselves are appointed for the electoral roll job in addition to the respective BLO's and they work up till 1300 hrs.They duty of the BLO's is to visit door to door but I have hardly seen them doing the same though they are been appointed on ward basis. I am on vacation and can carry out the job sincerely,free of cost in one day in my entire ward if I manage to find all houses open,if not then in maximum of 3 days.I do understand that the same is not possible from the government side to appoint people like me because they love to stretch a days job to a month and that too a Chaloo job.
