TAG’s 2nd Children’s Tiatr Festival

TAG has formulated a scheme to promote tiatr culture among the children
whose age does not exceed 19 years. The purpose of the scheme is to
involve children and youth of the age up to 19 years in the production
and staging of Tiatrs. With this aim in mind TAG will organize its 2nd
Children’s Tiatr Festival in the fortnight of December 2011.
Educational Institutions/Sports & Cultural Associations/Individual
Producers can participate in this festival. TAG will give a financial
support of Rs.20,000/- to produce the Tiatr. This amount is to be used
for meeting the expenditure of (a) Musical band (b) Light effects (c)
Stage setting (d) Background music (e) Make up (f) Costumes (g)
Refreshments for rehearsals (i)Transport, etc.
Maximum of 8 tiatrs will be permitted to participate in the 2nd
Children’s Tiatr Festival. If there are more than 8 applications, then 8
tiatrs will be selected by lots. Tiatrs having relevance to the lives of
children will be preferred. Awards for Best Performance, Acting,
Direction, Stage Setting, Light Effects, Live band, Background music,
Make up, Costumes, Singing, Lyrics of Songs & Scripts of Tiatr will be
given to the participants who performs excellently in the 2nd
Children’s Tiatr Festival.
The interested Educational Institutions/Sports & Cultural
Associations/Individual Producers are requested to apply for
participation in the prescribed form on or before 17th October 2011. The
rules and regulations along with the prescribed Application Form are
available in the office of TAG, Block A, 2nd Floor, Campal Trade Centre,
Campal, Panjim during office hours.
