OMAR CLARIFICATIONS DEEPENS MYSTERY Omar Abdulla has finally given his versions of the Mystery death of Yessuf. It is intriguing as to why the most important witness meets only the NC functionaries? The first witness has recovered his money and is on record that he has been directed to change his version in favour of job pay out. Omar has ordered a judicial inquiry and not a criminal inquiry to get at the truth, as the former is more reliable There is video recording of the autopsy that does show any external marks , as against those provided by the son Omar argues that there was no physical torture from the reports of autopsy conducted by the military hospital. Why then was Yessuf interrogated in the private office of the C.M in his absence, after sending the two witnesses away? A perfectly healthy man , without known medical history of Cardiac ailment. When he left he was doddering , unable to walk, disheveled and vomited blood. Why was he not sent to the hospital in this condition and instead taken for questioning, when he could hardly sit up ? Yessuf wanted to meet Farook , before committing to pay the huge amount in one and half month ? There was delay in unearthing the allegations since July as Omar was busy with more pressing state problems. The access that Yessuf had was normal to all other N.C workers. The serious charges of bribe giving and taking there is no FIR filed, so also against the allegations of coercing the witness of changing his confession. Omar opines that in normal circumstances the Police must have done the needful. The transfers at his residence was a mere coincidence and has nothing to do with the case Though he refused to answer in the positive that Yessuff was physically abused, he finally admitted that Yessuf appeared disheveled, but walked out His condition Omar attributes to the sudden shock of the truth of bribes in the name of N.C and possible of incarceration in Jail
Only the second witness, who paid 84 lakhs can contribute to solving a part of the mystery. One wonders what guts Yessuf had to accept huge pay outs and further to promise the posts as MLC MLA ? How did his donors trust him with such colossal amounts in anticipation of the favours sought ? Yessuf s connection was well known, perhaps from past precedents in brokering such deals It is natural, now to disown him and put the onus entirely on Yessuf. The N.C and close family can wash their hands as dead Yessuf cannot defend himself anymore Omar exerts that the Judicial commission with sitting Judge of the High Court will go into all details to unravel the truth and that is the best step he took to set the matters at rest That PDF is agitating falsely to come to power and allegations against the opposition will not convince the enormity of the custodial death Omar feel that the Media , the witnesses, the press reports, the immediate family members are all lying and exaggerating the issue and that he alone is telling the truth and nothing but the gospel truth Nelson Lopes Chinchinim
