And let's not even start on the atrocious pronunciations. Well when your first guide to Goa is named Yellow Contractor, I suppose this well happen. Why can't they get a Goan food expert to show them around and authenticate stuff? There's Vivek Menzes, Fatima Gracias, Odette Mascarenhas, Vasco Alvares, Melinda Kamat.... Cecil ======== Andrew Zimmern has a very popular TV program here in the west where he explores the more exotic foods people eat all over the world. Admittely, he does hype how bizarre, what he is about to eat, sounds to the western palate. To his credit though, he does not laugh at the food. All he does is make it entertaining for the western audience that the program is marketed to. Here is an episode where he tastes banana beer and other stuff in Tanzania. I was weened on this stuff, believe it or not. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lh-ixWj4HPc Part two in Tanzania is about the best barbecue I have ever seen on TV. Mervyn
