Sir,
The Goans in London have decided to commemorate the 22nd death ANNIVERSARY OF
FATHER OF THE OPINION POLL-1967 DR.JACK DE SEQUEIRA as the Goan Identity Day
on 17th of October 2011. It was on this day late Sequeira passed away from
us. Late Sequeira was the architect to save guard Goan Identity in the
historic opinion poll conducted by the centre govt. to decide the fate of Goa
on 16-01-1967.
Dr. Sequeira was the main leader to win the Unique opinion poll. The get
dkktogether will be organised by the Konkani association IVFRK=UK at Middlesex
United Kingdom. The news of the function will be posted to the press and others
after the celebration.
