I can understand people who adopt a position based on pure faith or blind
belief without any need for proof. I can and do even respect a principled
stance based on such feelings. But what I do not respect is deceiving the
public and lying about scientific facts. That is what is clear regarding
Nathanson's lying and deception in the Time magazine article. He also claims
that he deceived the people when he was fighting against banning abortion. Why
people who peddle such crap are always looking for support from science by
lying about it beats me. Isn't belief in their latest religious dogma not
enough for them?

Cheers,

Santosh

I would lay greater store in Dr Bernard Nathanson's confession and the movie
than in the Time article for the simple reason that it requires strength of
courage and conviction to make a U turn and admit one's mistakes and also
blow the whistle on the means used to achieve the ends.

The article in Time is on expected lines where the detractors will use any
means to discredit those whom they differ with and only confirms what Dr
Nathanson states in his confession.

Marshall
