Using a cleaned up digitized version of the original track, I tried toanalyze
that line in Bob Marley's Iron Lion Zion, which sounds like"Tujea bapaichem
kestao", acoustically, by identifying similar soundselsewhere in the track, and
by asking two people who are not veryfamiliar with Konknni to identify the
words, without giving them anyhints. What I found is the following.

That line is "Till I bypass and take a stop", which makes sense in thecontext.
Two fragments of this line are sung elsewhere in the track. The first one at the
beginning is "Then I take a stop" and the secondone is "Till I bypass route". I
provide some evidence in support of myanalysis in the zipped folder at the
following link:

http://www.tinyurl.com/IronLionZion1

Please download the zipped folder, and unzip it. Then open thepowerpoint file
named IronLionZion. When you double click on the loudspeaker icon in the first
slide you will hear the entire track incrisp and clear reasonably high quality
stereo MP3 format. In thesecond slide you will see three clips, and their
correspondingsonographic representations. When you double click on the Clip 1
loudspeaker you will hear "Then I take a stop". Double clicking on Clip 2loud
speaker will elicit "Till I bypass and take a stop". This is theclip of
interest. Finally, the Clip 3 loud speaker will yield "Till Ibypass route".

Cheers,

Santosh
