Parrikar promises cheaper petrol if voted to power

MAPUSA: Making petrol cheaper by atleast Rs 12, sharing mining profits with
the people and reversal of cabinet decision on Medium of Instruction are the
three promises former chief minister Manohar Parrikar made today if his
government comes back to power in the next assembly elections.
Addressing the gathering at Mapusa, Parrrikar said the common man is today is
facing hardships due to rising fuel prices.
“ If BJP government is voted to power in the next assembly elections, I will
see to it that petrol becomes cheaper by atleast Rs 12 per litre within seven
days,” Parrikar said adding “ this is very much possible and we need not take
loan for this.” Parrikar also assured that the Rs 1000 cr revenue what the
state is getting through mining royalty will be shared with the people if his
party is voted to power.
Last but not the least, Parrikar announced that the very day his government
comes to power it will change the cabinet decision on medium of instruction.
