Honourable intentions indeed.
But No. It will not help.
Justice Katju of the Supreme Court is voicing his displeasure already.
But it will remain a voice in the wilderness.
The Armed forces are puppets in the hands of POLITICIANS - They ADDRESS
THEM AS SIR.
The Politicians have seen to it that all three ARMED FORCES CHIEFS are
heavily insulated from each other so that they cannot ever get together
against the POLITICIANS. In other words, they have kept their respective
CHAMCHAS as Chiefs. Am I saying something new? Chamchas would be a mild
term.
What WE are trying to do is to stitch a UNITED REGIONAL FRONT in Goa to
go for the National Parties on a sentimental note of fighting a SECOND
Opinion Poll to throw them out from Goa. They are the ones who are doing
the MAXIMUM DAMAGE to Goa and Goans. Example: What does Jagmit Singh
Brar of Congress know about Goa and Goans??
Help from you guys abroad is VITAL. When I say HELP, I don't mean
'MONEY'. You can do just as well with your writings and raising public
awareness amongst GOANS. The second agenda is to get SPECIAL STATUS FOR
GOA on the lines of NAGALAND which the national parties will never be
interested to give GOA. They have not done so in the past 50 years and
they are not going to have a heart melt-down. They are not going to
cut off their own feet and hands????

suggest you go with your party president to Delhi to meet the Joint
Chief of the Armed Forces with a message that the country has had enough
of the current version of Indian democracy and needs a spell of Military
Rule for such time until India can be brought to a decent standard of
governance.
