Telaulim Mega show (Rup tujem Laita Pixem)
Konkani Musical Fiesta
Navelim 17th Nov. 2011.
The mega show was to start at 7.30pm.
We arrived at 8.30pm
The show started at 9.12pm
We left at 10.45 pm
The show must have ended at 1am
There was no overhead cover for the general public.
At 8.30, the vacant chairs were completely wet with dew (mobhavelo dou)
Many ladies seen with their heads covered with saree ‘palou’ caps, maflor,
scarf etc.
However, there was a covered pendal for the VIPs including the village Compelao.
That’s not very nice... the show should start on time.
Directorate of Art & Culture and Goa Tourism should put conditions before
allowing any grants to such events.
And what about the 10 o'clock sound rule?
Does not apply to Government sponsored events?
The Chief Guest (Churchill) himself arrived at 10.15pm
