Mr. Pinto has given a better journalistic account than might be found in any of the newspapers. Truly, the story must be disturbing for many of us, and there are so many unanswered questions. But, I feel that we will be seeing more of the same, as people begin to become accountable for their own lives throughout. There was renowned Existentialist writer (not Sartre; not Camus; but in their League) whose name is momentarily beyond recall, who along with his spouse was found having taken a lethal draught of some kind. The report from those who witnessed the discovery was that it was 'dignified'. So, I guess I would only wonder why hanging and strangulation was the choice. At some point the medical and pharmaceutical communities are going to have to come up with the enabler for those who choose to end their own lives---in a dignified manner.
