Brazil legend Socrates passes away at 57 years of age, he was admitted to hospital on Thursday for suspected food poisoning but reports said that he then suffered a septic shock and ultimately succumbed today (Sunday) morning. It is a sad day for Football lovers. He was a gifted footballer, a midfielder par excellence and always played clean football and had displayed a cool temperament. He was the Captain of the most feared Brazil team of 1982 and played in the1986 world cup as well but unfortunately never won the world cup. May his soul rest in peace Freddy Agnelo Fernandes
