Hello Venantius,
WHen they crucified "your" Lord both you and me were not born.
But we were included in YHWH's plan of salvation.
Jesus died for your sins, my sins and the sins of humanity.
He was the Lamb of God who "takes away the sin of the world"
He never comitted a transgression (Sin/SINS) rather paid the price for the
capital
punishment of SIN /sins....you and me would get regardless.
The wage of SIN is DEATH....
Paul writes to the Ephesians: see Chapter 1.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us
with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ,
"4just as He chose us in Him before the * foundation of the world*, that we
should be holy and without blame before Him in love,
5having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself,
according to the good pleasure of His will,
6to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the
Beloved.
7In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins,
according to the riches of His grace
8which He made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence,
9having made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good
pleasure which He purposed in Himself,
10that in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He might gather
together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on
earth --- in Him.
Jesus being an ETERNAL SON of GOD who became "SON of MAN"
LIVES to-day, and if you RECEIVE Him (see the first chapter of the Gospel of
John)
become the spiritual chilren of God....a relationship is established on the
merits of
the finished work onthe Calvary.
Where were yoiu when they crucified "your" - if you REPENT and put your whole
trust upon Christ
you are included to be a part of the family of God our father."
This is not a sermonette but a simple clarification of one in simplicity and
sincerity loves the written Word of GOd.
