Call me old-fashioned, but I was shocked to see CM Kamat and Minister
Alexio Sequeira in shirts. Also Remo and many others, while Dattaraj
Salgoakar and Wendell were attired in suits. Wish the others at least
had the thought of wearing a coat.
Whatever happened to the old customs when people (more so those in
public life) dressed in formal clothes for funerals?
Here was a giant of a Goan on his last journey and at least deserved
respects, especially those who eloquently gave their tributes to his
life and art in newspapers.
Just a nagging thought with no offence to anyone in particular.
